Program Overview

This course gives a brief insight about (Law No. 36 of 2012), the rights and obligations of the worker according to the law, as well as the rights and duties of the worker according to the Social Insurance Law (Law No. 24 of 1967) and the Insurance Law against Disruption (Law No. 87 of
2006).

Objectives
  • The trainee will be acquainted with the most important provisions of the Labor Law in the private sector (Law No. 36 of 2012).
  • The trainee is acquainted with the most important provisions of the Social Insurance Law (Law No. 24 of 1967).
  • The trainee is acquainted with the most important provisions of the Insurance Law against Disruption (Law No. 87 of 2006).
Program content

Module 1:

  • Opening the program and acquaintance.
  • Introduction to the civil labor law.
  • An overview of the previous laws on the civil labor law.
  • Fast traffic on the doors and chapters of the National Labor Code.
  • Stand on the doors and chapters of importance to the subject of the session.
  • Review some examples of each section and chapter.

Module 2:

  • Review the terms of the individual employment contract under the National Labor Code (Part Three).
  • Review the employment conditions of juveniles and women under the National Labor Code (sects. IV and V).
  • Description of the conditions and details of wages according to the National Labor Code (Chapter 6).
  • Review the main sections of Chapter VII: Working hours and rest periods.
  • Review of Part VIII: Vacations.
  • Termination of employment contract.
  • Individual and collective labor disputes and disputes, and review of real modern examples.

Module 3:

  • Explain the concept of insurance in general.
  • The most important types of insurance with a description of each type.
  • Explain the concept of social insurance – retirement.
  • Statement of the necessity and benefits of social insurance.
  • A historical overview of social insurance in Bahrain.
  • History of social insurance in the GCC countries.
  • Review the branches covered by social insurance in Bahrain.

Module 4:

  • Review the branch of anti-aging insurance and identify its conditions.
  • Calculation of practical examples on the method of calculating old age pension.
  • Review the branch of insurance against natural disability and identify its conditions.
  • Calculation of practical examples on the method of calculating normal disability pension.
  • Review the branch of insurance against natural death and identify its conditions.
  • Calculation of practical examples on the method of calculation of natural death pension.
  • Review the branch of insurance against work injury and identify its conditions.
  • Calculation of practical examples on the method of calculating compensation or pension of work injury
  • Review the concept of compensating a single payment and identify the terms of payment.
  • Calculation of practical examples of the method of calculation of the payment of one payment.
  • Review the branch of insurance against unemployment and identify its conditions.
  • Calculation of practical examples of the method of calculation of compensation or unemployment benefit
